Probationary Period Crash Course Summer Holidays 2026 - Langgymi
The Langgymi Probationary Period Crash Course is designed for students who are about to start the Langgymi and would like to prepare specifically for the requirements of the probationary period.
The probationary period is a challenging phase for many children. New subjects, a faster learning pace, more independence and unfamiliar exam formats can quickly become challenging. Our course helps students to consolidate their subject knowledge, reduce their insecurities and start the long Langgymi school year with more structure and self-confidence.
Over the course of a week, the students repeat and consolidate key basics in Latin, Maths and French. They will gain an insight into typical task formats, practise important learning and solution strategies and gain more confidence for the start of school at the Langgymnasium.

The course is suitable for students who:
- are about to enter the Langgymi
- want to prepare specifically for the probationary period
- want to review and build on the basics of Latin, Maths and French
- want to reduce insecurities before starting school
- want to gain more structure and self-confidence for the trial period
- want to develop learning and examination strategies for the Langgymi
The probationary crash course is particularly suitable for students who want to consciously prepare for their start at the Langgymnasium and start the new school phase with a stronger academic and methodological foundation.
Learning strategies, mindfulness and stress reduction
Alongside the specialised work, we train mindfulness and stress reduction. In addition, individual learning strategies are developed for each student so that the children can face the demands of the probationary period with more confidence.
The students are taught valuable learning, problem-solving and exam strategies that they can use not only for the probationary period, but also in the long term in everyday school life.
Small group with personal guidance
The Langgymi trial crash course takes place in a small group with maximum 8 students. This allows our teachers to address questions on an individual basis, identify gaps in knowledge and provide targeted support to the children. The small group size enables focused work, personalised feedback and a learning environment in which pupils can actively participate.
