Introductory Gymnasium Preparation Course Summer Holidays 2026 – Kurzgymi
The Introductory course Kurzgymi is aimed at students in the 2nd or 3rd secondary level who would like to gain an initial insight into the requirements of the entrance-exam to the Kurzgymi .
Over the course of a week, the students learn typical task formats from the Kurzgymi entrance-exam repeat central basics in German and Mathematics and gain more confidence with regard to a possible entrance examination.
The course is particularly suitable for students who want to find out where they stand and whether further preparation for the Kurzgymi entrance-exam makes sense.

The introductory course offers students a structured opportunity to familiarise themselves with the requirements of the Kurzgymi entry-exam and to better assess their further preparation.
Learning strategies, mindfulness and stress reduction
Alongside our work on the sixth-form course, we practise mindfulness and stress management. We also develop personalised learning strategies for each sixth-form candidate. Pupils are taught valuable learning, problem-solving and exam strategies that they can use not only for the entrance exam but also in their day-to-day school life in the long term.
Small group with personal guidance
The introductory course course takes place in a small group with a maximum of 8 students. This allows our teachers to respond individually to questions, recognise uncertainties and provide the children with personal support. The manageable group size creates a calm and focussed learning atmosphere in which the pupils can actively participate and receive targeted support.
